As a first grade teacher for many years I always strived to encourage and inspire my students to be creative, use their imaginations, and never quit learning new things. This philosophy propelled me towards a class in glass fusing.  That first class set me on a new path; one that includes 1450 Glass by Janet. Making plates, bowls, and art with glass has helped me to relax and let my creative energy flow.  My simple geometric patterns and bold colors as well as negative reliefs are a theme throughout my work.  I hope that I am able to continue to inspire other's imaginations through my glass. I am based out of Michigan and sell my pieces at various art shows and stores throughout the region.
